Frequently asked questions
How is this different from other flavoured waters or diet sodas?
Less hype, more honesty.
Most “flavoured waters” in South Africa are soft drinks in disguise, loaded with sugar or artificial sweeteners, additives & synthetic flavours.
Diet sodas? Same story, just with a different label.
FALL. is stripped back to water matter: Water, Bubbles & a Hint of Natural Flavours.
No marketing sleight of hand. Nothing to hide, its all on the label.
Is Sparkling water hydrating?
Yes. Bubbles don’t change that.
Sparkling water hydrates just like still water.
We still water, just with bubbles & natural flavours
Why no sugar?
Because you don’t need it.
Water doesn’t need it.
And neither do we.
We’re here for clean, crisp flavour, nothing syrupy, nothing sneaky. Just the good stuff.
If you use real fruit for the flavours, why is there no sugar or calories?
Flavour without the sugar rush.
We use an extraction method to isolate flavour compounds, not juice. That means we get the aroma & taste of fruit without the sugar.
There’s a trace of calories, around 1kcal per 100ml, well below the 4kcal limit for “calorie-free” / "zero calories" labelling.
Are there calories in FALL. Water?
Technically, yes. Practically, no.
A 300ml can is between 1 & 2kcal, flavour depending.
For context, thinking about this question probably burns more than that.
Which acids do your drinks use?
It sounds scary. It’s not.
We us malic acid. This is naturally occurring in many fruits. It helps keep the flavour balanced from can to can.
What is the pH level of your drinks?
If you’re into numbers…
Between 3.1 and 3.2, depending on the flavour.
Is FALL. Water alcoholic?
No. Not even close.
It’s water, bubbles, & natural flavour, nothing else.
That said, it plays well with others… keep an eye out for our zero-alcohol mixology series on social.
I am pregnant, is FALL. Water safe?
Yes. 100%.
Our water is filtered, naturally flavoured, & free from alcohol, sugar & artificial additives.
If you want a refreshing alternative to sugary or alcohol-based drinks, you’re in safe hands.
Whats the catch?
There isn’t one.
We’re as surprised as you are.
